Useful links
I'm still confused
You might want to try the Basic Skills Agency website. The Basic Skills Agency has some excellent tools to help you, including things like how to write a cheque or use a cash machine.
Another good place to turn, especially if you're struggling with debt, is the Citizen's Advice Bureau.
You might want to try the Money Matters To Me website or the BBC's cashwise. We can't take responsibility for anything on these sites but we do think they're rather good.
I'm more confident
So, you know a little about how to make the most of your money and now you want to take things further. The following links may help - just remember we cannot accept any responsibility for the content of these sites.
The motley fool - loads of information including comparisons of credit cards and other products.
If you want some more formal financial advice, the Independent Financial Advisors' website may help you find a contact or try the Financial Services Authority.
Other useful money related sites are the DWP's pension site and the Inland Revenue (or HM Revenue & Customs) site.
I have a problem
If you're struggling with debt, contact the National Debt Line or telephone 0808 808 4000.
You could also try the Citizen's Advice Bureau for support. They may be able to help you work out which debts to pay off first and which bills still need to be paid.
I have a complaint to make
If your complaint is to do with a company or an individual who you feel has not acted as they should have done then you may want to contact an Ombudsman. If you're going to do this though, make sure you have already tried complaining using the company's standard complaints procedure first. Use the Financial Ombudsman for insurance, banking, pension selling and other general financial complaints.
If your complaint is to do with to how a pension scheme is run, start with TPAS or TPR before contacting the Pensions Ombudsman.
I can never remember my PIN
Whilst putting together the other useful links found on this page, we came across this one. This site teaches people who struggle to remember numbers a way to remember them as letters. Confused? Try the site at www.sharpsoftware.co.uk/pin.
